Dear Compsa President, Executive, Council, and Members

This is my formal letter of resignation from the Compsa position of Fourth Year Representative.

I was looking forward to holding the position, representing Computing Fourth Years, however from the results of the election, the majority of fourth years do not have confidence in me as their Representative. The exact results as published were 8 for and 7 against resulting in my election. However taking into account that I voted for myself putting it to a tie breaking vote, the majority voted no. The results of fourth years alone is really 6 for, 7 against. Initially I had hoped to have almost no non-confidence votes, but having the majority being such, I would not feel right keeping the position.

I will continue to work with Compsa on the same projects that I would have as the Fourth Year Representative, however in a non-official format, and not as Fourth Year Representation.
